XML-based settings and applications
Prior Alpha worlds and save data are incompatible with one another. New Pregen-Maps are now accessible. The 7 Days save game data folder should be deleted prior to beginning the game.

EXPAND YOUR CREATIONS
Alpha 20 will include a brand new random world generation system, which TFP is excited to share with you. The System has been re-engineered to increase POI dispersion and Trader placement in addition to its generation speed. We focused on material for POIs, City Tiles, and Stamps. A lot more attention has been paid to the roads and cities, making them more lifelike. There is a strong connection between POIs and wilderness trails. There are far too many modifications to list them all, however the following are some of the more notable:
Rural/country town/wilderness/country residential and downtown are two examples of the city's newest wards.
New RWG Tiles make it easier to develop cities and towns with their wide variety of tile options.
